Cooking with Bay - Hearty Summer Recipes

Adaptable, seasonal vegetarian cooking class full of tips and skills to make the most of what you have in the fridge and the cupboard.
I’m on a mission to get people excited about the possibilities with veg in the kitchen, and so these classes will be built around recipes that can be adapted throughout the year, depending on what’s in season. We’ll also talk about (and make!) some easy ways to transform them with simple-but-punchy layers of additional flavour like spiced seeds; creamy dressings; herby salsas.
In the class we'll cover everything from knife skills to easy ingredient swaps and how to build layers of flavour and texture.
This event is all about stunning Summer salads that can be adapted depending on what suits your mood and appetite. What we'll be cooking:
- Slow Cooked Olive Oil Green Beans with Tomatoes
- Gingery Carrot Noodle Salad
- Pumpkin Seed, Orange & Cumin Brittle
You'll receive a simple shopping list a week before the class
Spaces are limited to 10 people per class, so there will be lots of time for individual questions and guidance.
